Wealth Management Firm Builds Innovative Tactics to Education Clients
Raleigh, NC, June 09, 2010 --(PR.com)-- VisionQuest Wealth Management, a Raleigh based wealth management firm serving as a personal CFO to individuals, families, and businesses is and has developed some very innovative tactics to educate their clients.
In their annual strategic planning meeting in late 2009, the VisionQuest team with the advice of (5) of their clients recognized and decided to provide educational opportunities via the web, their web-site and through alliances with the community to do a better job of developing mechanisms for continuous, on-going education to their client base. At a firm whose focus is providing knowledge, advice, and personalized service, their team wanted to create outlets to share knowledge with their clients outside of their regular reviews and now feels that they have developed an internal educational plan to accomplish just that for their clients.
“We are in an economic climate where clients are asking for a deeper knowledge of their strategies and tactics….they want to understand what their advisors are doing different to combat the current economic uncertainties,” says Jessie Hrivnak, Director of Service for VisionQuest Wealth Management. She continues, “We want our clients to make educated decisions and it is our role as their advisor to arm them with that education.”
But it’s not just investment knowledge that VisionQuest Wealth Management brings to the table. With their holistic approach, the firm holds educational seminars and webinars on multiple aspects of wealth management such as tax planning, business planning, cash flow management and everything in between. In fact, in the first quarter of 2010, VisionQuest partnered with The Downtown Clubs of Raleigh’s Business Alliance Group to host educational seminars focused on strategic business planning.
The Navigation Series, which is the program VisionQuest partnered with the Downtown Clubs of Raleigh, are designed to present the latest methodologies for developing and implementing strategies that work for business owners. Drawing from relevant conceptual frameworks and real-life examples, participants in the program learn to explore the specific tasks and concepts key to ensuring the success of corporate, business, and functional strategies. In three of the four part series, the VisionQuest team educated business owners on strategic planning with a focus on goal setting, branding, and metrics of success. “
Stephen Peters, President and CEO of VisionQuest, designed (3) programs for the audience that helped them develop a competitive strategy for a competitive environment, provided them best practices for implementing strategic planning, assisted them with technology to develop straight through business processing, provided them templates for coping with the complexities, uncertainties, and changes that are reconfiguring your world today relative to their market, sales, competition and better understanding your customers.
Business owners have the ability to control their own financial destiny” says Stephen Peters, “so often, however, entrepreneurs start their business because of their passions and they aren’t always prepared for the challenges that they will face in running a financially stable and successful business.”
Charles Gupton, a Raleigh-based business owner and participant in the Navigation Series said that “the educational benefit of the series was incredibly valuable to my business and me.” He continues “ with the information shared by VisionQuest, Steve and other members participating in the Navigation Series, I have been able to tighten my focus on some critical areas of weakness in my business.”
In addition to in-person educational seminars like the Navigation Series, VisionQuest has taken the advice of their clients and is leveraging their newly designed website – www.vqwealth.com – as a vehicle to reach their client base from an educational perspective. Hrivnak says, “we built our website with the ability to provide educational material in a video format and VisionQuest believes that this format will deliver a higher degree of clarity on complex subject matters.” VisionQuest’s Online Educational Seminars are slated to be released in mid summer of 2010 (before the end of July).
