Buric’s Ronald Mueller Earns CCCA Credential
Somerville, NJ, June 10, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Ronald A. Mueller, a project consultant with Buric, recently earned the professional title of Certified Construction Contract Administrator (CCCA).
Conferred by the Construction Specifications Institute after examination, the CCCA designation reflects one’s understanding of all facets of the construction process and its contractual relationships, said Mark Harris Berman, AIA, PP, CID and a principal at Buric.
The credential also demonstrates an ability to administer contracts in an era of complex construction projects, tighter delivery schedules and shrinking budgets, Berman said.
“What truly sets Buric apart is its employees, who are accomplished leaders in their fields,” Berman said. “On behalf of Buric, as well as our clients who benefit daily from Ronald’s knowledge and expertise, I congratulate him on achieving this impressive accreditation.”
Candidates sitting for the CCCA exam must demonstrate proficiency in such matters as construction project delivery systems, construction phase activities, project schedules, contract modifications, claims and disputes, and quality assurance and quality control.
Mueller, who joined Buric in 2007, is responsible for managing construction projects, including scheduling and coordinating site investigations for equipment and personnel resource needs; coordinating in-house efforts for reports and estimates; managing client relationships; and defining sources and causes of building deficiencies and code violations.
Mueller works in Buric’s Somerville, N.J., branch office. Buric is headquartered outside Cleveland in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, and has another branch office in Wilmington, N.C.
An industry veteran with nearly 30 years of experience, Mueller holds a bachelor’s of science degree in architectural engineering technology from the Wentworth Institute of Technology. Mueller is a member of the Construction Specifications Institute, a national professional organization dedicated to creating standards and formats to improve construction documents and project delivery.
Established in 1968, Buric provides building information modeling; construction planning and critical path method scheduling; construction claims resolution, including forensic investigation, demonstrative graphics and expert witness capability; surety contract management; building diagnostics and rehabilitation; project management and control; and architectural and engineering design services.
