New Haven, CT, June 10, 2010 --(PR.com)-- New Haven Pride Center Holds Open House and Book Sale - Welcomes Community to June 30th Event.
The New Haven Pride Center is pleased to announce the date for its second annual Open House: Wednesday, June 30. For the first time ever, the Open House will be combined with a used book sale to raise funds for the organization.
The NHPC invites the entire greater New Haven community to the event, to meet board members, visit their office space, enjoy some refreshments, and peruse their large offering of books for sale. The open house event is free, but donations are accepted, and all proceeds from the book sale will benefit the NHPC.
Attendees should expect to browse through many one-of-a-kind book genres and titles, including fiction, biography, health & wellness, poetry, reference, children’s books and more. “Over the years, the NHPC has amassed quite a collection of LGBT and non-LGBT books; we’re thrilled to be able to open up our collection and allow our community to enjoy these books as we have,” said co-President, Joshua O’Connell.
The Open House and Book Sale is scheduled for 6:30 pm on Wednesday, June 30 at the offices of the NHPC, 14 Gilbert Street, West Haven, CT 06516.
