ONLC Renews Commitment to Austin, TX Facility

Austin, TX, June 11, 2010 --(PR.com)-- ONLC Training Centers has renewed their commitment to providing valuable IT training in the state’s capital of Austin. This is in addition to the company’s other Southeastern Texas sites including a second Austin location as well as facilities in San Antonio and Houston (two sites). ONLC also has Texas centers in the Abilene, Amarillo, Corpus Christi, Addison, El Paso, Fort Worth, Irving (Las Colinas), League City, McAllen, Midland, Plano/Frisco, Spring/The Woodlands, and Sugarland.

“Our Austin site is for the convenience of our students residing in and around the capital city. With our facilities we can provide more convenient access to classroom training to people in the southeastern Texas region,” stated ONLC Training Centers’ CEO, Andy Williamson. “We deliver important training at that site to the Texas State government as well as to private Austin businesses,” he continued.

ONLC has been running training facilities in Texas since 2006. ONLC’s Texas locations offer live, instructor-led classroom training. Through Remote Classroom Instruction (RCI) the company is also able to connect students from multiple training facilities into a single class. “With RCI we have the lowest class cancellation rate in the industry. If someone registers for one of our classes, there is over a 90% chance that that class will run. We are now bringing that level of certainty to individuals registering for our classes in the Texas market,” stated Williamson.

ONLC reports that its most popular technical classes in Austin are related to Microsoft Windows Server, Windows 7, SQL Server, SharePoint, and Exchange as well as security training (Security +). From and end-user perspective, in addition to the obvious Microsoft Office classes (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) the company is also seeing strong demand for the Adobe CS4 Suite (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Acrobat, Illustrator, In-Design, Flash and Fireworks.)

“We are preparing for a huge wave of training related to the new releases of Exchange 2010, SharePoint 2010, and Office 2010. Also, the request for Windows 7 are very strong in our area and we expect that to continue into next year as companies in the region upgrade their desktop operating systems,” stated Williamson.
