NJ Branch of Association of Bridal Consultants Announces Team for Cancer Patient’s June 26 Wedding
The New Jersey Branch of the Association of Bridal Consultants is planning a June 26th wedding for Tina Tinervia, who has metastatic breast cancer. All of the professional service providers are donating their time and/or services to make the bride’s dream come true.
West Orange, NJ, June 13, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The New Jersey branch of the Association of Bridal Consultants (“NJ-ABC”), as previously announced, is creating a wedding celebration for bride and cancer patient Tina Tinervia, 33, and her groom Paul Velez, 34. The wedding will take place on Saturday, June 26, 2010. All of the professional service providers identified below are donating their time and/or services to make Tina and Paul’s day unforgettable, and are members of the NJ-ABC.
The wedding will take place at Monmouth Battlefield Park in Manalapan at 5:00 pm on June 26th. Invitations have already been designed and mailed to Tina and Paul’s 200 guests by NJ-ABC member and custom invitation designer Paper Works & Events of Engelwood, www.paperworksandevents.com.
Association of Bridal Consultants (“ABC”) member and Officiant Julie Laudicina of Staten Island, New York, www.julielaudicina.com, will perform the wedding ceremony. NJ-ABC member and musicians Elegant Ensembles of Closter, www.elegantensembles.com, is providing ceremony music. NJ-ABC member and custom stationery company The Finishing Touch of West Orange, www.thefinishingtouchevents.com, is creating the ceremony programs as well as other paper items throughout the day (escort cards, table numbers and signature drink signs). Tina’s hair and make-up will be done by NJ-ABC member Magda's Designs, Inc. of Bloomfield, www.magdadesignsbeauty.net. Everyone in the community is welcome to attend the wedding ceremony and share in Tina and Paul’s joy.
The reception will follow at The Excelsior in Manalapan. Cocktail hour music is being provided once again by Elegant Ensembles, while music for the dinner-dance portion of the reception is being supplied by NJ-ABC member and full-service entertainment company Craig Scott Entertainment of Rochelle Park, www.craigscott.com. Lighting design for the reception is being provided by NJ-ABC member Dynamite FX of West Berlin, www.dynamitefx.com. The Groom’s Cake is being made by NJ-ABC member Confectionary Designs of Bogota, www.confectionarydesigns.com. “When I contacted the members of the NJ-ABC about donating their time and/or services for Tina and Paul’s wedding, the response was overwhelming,” states Candice Benson, State Coordinator of the NJ-ABC. Tina was first diagnosed with breast cancer in May 2006. Just two years after she beat it, she was rediagnosed with metastatic breast cancer in September 2008. In late January 2010, a PET Scan showed that the cancer in Tina’s organs (liver, lungs, chest nodules) had shrunk. Unfortunately, the cancer in her bones has spread. She has a six-year old daughter, Ashley, from a previous marriage.
The NJ-ABC is comprised of vendor members as well as members who are wedding consultants. The vendor members come from all aspects of the wedding industry, including photographers, videographers, florists, musicians, venues, favor specialists, invitation designers, lighting companies, celebrants, media, insurance, travel, caterers, bridal shops, tuxedo rentals, hotels, rental companies, cigar rollers, transportation rentals, gown and bouquet preservationists, and many more.
