SixFigureWriters.com and AllFreelancing.com Launch Adopt-a-Writer Contest for Freelance Writers
The writers involved in 2007’s Six Figure Challenge for freelance writers are launching an “adopt-a-writer” contest starting December 4th at the freelance writing forum at www.AllFreelancing.com. One freelance writer will be chosen to receive one on one aid from all of the Challenge writers to increase their writing income, break into new writing markets, and reach their personal goals for their freelance writing career in 2007.
Philadelphia, PA, December 05, 2006 --(PR.com)-- The five freelance writers running the 2007 Six Figure Challenge (www.SixFigureWriters.com) and the AllFreelancing freelance writing forum (www.AllFreelancing.com) have announced the launch of an adopt-a-writer contest, beginning on December 4th. The contest will be run through the AllFreelancing forum, where freelance writers can enter by posting in the announcement thread. The writers will be narrowed down over the course of several weeks, until a winner is chosen.
The winner will be “adopted” by the Six Figure Challenge writers, who will work personally with them personally to help them set and achieve their writing goals for 2007, including helping them to improve their skills, teaching them how to break into new markets, and showing them how they can earn a higher income from their writing. The contest is targeted towards new freelance writers or those in low-paying markets who wish to break out beyond them.
Writers can enter the adopt-a-writer contest by visiting and registering (for free) at www.AllFreelancing.com, and posting a response to the contest thread in the Challenge News forum area. Entries will be open from Monday, December 4th through Sunday, December 17th. The Challenge participants will choose five finalists at that time. Those five writers will then be asked to respond in the forum to a question posed to each of them, and all forum members will have the ability to vote on the final three writer. The Challenge participants will pose one further question before choosing a winner to work with in the new year.
About the Six Figure Challenge
The Six Figure Challenge for freelance writers (www.SixFigureWriters.com) was a concept launched in the Fall of 2006. Five professional freelance writers from different backgrounds will work together to each strive for a goal of earning a six figure income from their writing, or writing-related work, over the course of 2007. They will document their progress on an official blog at SixFigureWriters.com, a Myspace profile at Myspace.com/sixfigurewriters, and a new freelance writing forum at AllFreelancing.com, in an effort to put their own careers on display in the hopes of helping new and underpaid freelance writers learn how to earn more from their writing. The writers will also be publishing a variety of free resources to help other writers, including daily writers’ markets, freelance writing job listings, and more from late 2006 through the end of the Challenge.
