Red, Pink and Blue Event Brings Fun, Fashion and Funds to Local Non Profits

Cincy Chic teams up with the American Heart Association, Pink Ribbon Girls and American Diabetes Association

Cincinnati, OH, June 16, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Fashion hungry fans and those looking to support a good cause can find relief at Cincy Chic’s annual event, Red, Pink and Blue. The only online lifestyle publication for women in Greater Cincinnati (www.cincychic.com) pairs efforts with Locals on Living, St. Elizabeth Healthcare, the American Heart Association, Pink Ribbon Girls and the American Diabetes Association to promote heart health, breast health, and diabetes health awareness. Cincy Chic will host the event on The Kentucky Landing of the Purple People Bridge with a fashion show later in the evening.

Red, Pink and Blue, an event concept that was recognized by the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber with a WE Celebrate award, will be held on Friday, June 25, 2010 from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. St. Elizabeth Healthcare will provide a mammography van and the option for a complimentary blood pressure check. All proceeds from the event will benefit the American Heart Association, Pink Ribbon Girls and the American Diabetes Association.

The event will include a raffle and a fashion show that will transform the Purple People Bridge into a runway at 9 p.m. and the first 200 attendees with receive a swag bags full of fantastic gifts. An after party following the event will kick off at 10:30 p.m. at Star Lanes on the Levee.

“This event marries fashion and philanthropy. Not only will we have free health checks and information available, but we’ll also transform the bridge into a quarter mile fashion show runway! It’s truly an epic production,” said Cincy Chic publisher Amy Storer-Scalia.
