New Safety Device for the Boating Industry

CinLor Tech is launching an innovative device to improve the electrical safety onboard any boat or yacht.

New Safety Device for the Boating Industry
Houston, TX, December 05, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Introducing an innovative device that reduces the risk of damages due to failures of the electric plant onboard.

The “Battery Safety Module” introduces short circuit protection for each connection to the battery, including start motor, electric winches/anchors and refrigerators.  It also helps in reducing the risk of damages to the electronic devices.

Improper electrical wiring is often the reason for malfunction of electronic devices and fire onboard.  “Battery Safety Module” is the solution.

This device provides a protection for each electric wire derived from the battery, and makes it easier to realize a safe and properly configured circuit. All wires are protected against short circuit. The separation between different types of appliances reduces the interferences and the rate of failure in sensitive electronics devices.

The fuses are bolted to their support to achieve more stable electric contact even in presence of corrosive agents and vibrations.

“Battery Safety Module” is available in two versions:
- S (base): one fuse for the start motor, two fuses for normal appliance groups (30, 60 A)
- L (extended): one fuse for the start motor, three fuses for normal appliance groups (30, 50, 70 A), one fuse for heavy duty appliances such as electric winches (250 A).

Both versions are tested for:
- isolation resistance
- voltage drop
- thermal cycles
- mechanical coherence with battery pole (rotation / extraction)
- heavy duty use
- high voltage discharge
- construction materials
- overload
- vibrations

The “Battery Safety Module” is available now by contacting CinLor Tech  at 713 253-3985 for phone orders or visiting their website at www.cinlor.com.
