Advanced CT Scanning Equipment for VIP Flights in South East Asia
IPS AGSE Pte Ltd has successfully completed the installation of two Computed Tomography, dual energy X-ray systems for scanning of passenger hand luggage for VIP flights at a leading airport in South East Asia.
Singapore, Singapore, June 17, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The CT-80 systems, manufactured by Reveal Imaging Technologies, Inc, are TSA certified in the United States. These next-generation systems are based on proven CT technology. Dual Energy CT uniquely measures both density and atomic number (Zeff) to provide the highest detection capability with the lowest possible false alarm rate. Bags are screened automatically for a full spectrum of explosives.
With a footprint similar to a conventional carry-on baggage X-ray system and the ability to run from single phase power, the compact CT-80 is ideal for facility protection, scanning of checked and hand luggage and other applications where other Explosive Detection Systems (EDS) cannot be deployed due to size and cost constraints.
