Crook Dancin’ Slic 1 Finally Gets Cleaned Up
London, United Kingdom, June 17, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Southern Cuba Records has announced the release of the new digitally remastered and cleaned-up version of “Crook Dancin’” by rapper Slic 1. Slic 1 is best known for the track Crook Dancin’ which was taken from his debut album My Mind State. My Mind State was Produced, recorded and mixed by OD Hunte and used by EA sports for the highly successful game Fight Night Round 3, which also featured artists such as Akon, Dip Set and Obie Trice.
The clean version of Crook Dancin' has never been commercially available until now but rather has only been enjoyed from within the EA Sports Fight Night Round 3 game and other sync placements. Heeding the call of many fans of the track, Southern Cuba Records has now released the digitally remastered clean version of Crook Dancin'. The single also includes the instrumental which again has never previously been available.
“Crook Dancin’ is one of those timeless tracks which fans are always gonna want and have been asking for the the clean version of,” offers Producer OD Hunte, “so finally I’ve got these versions out so that fans can enjoy them” he concludes.
Slic1, born to Nigerian parents, spent his life in between continents. He pursued his dream in the USA and Africa but got his first commercial break when Producer OD Hunte signed him to his label and produced his debut album.
Other film placements from the original My Mind State release include “From the Start” in the Hollywood film “Farce Of The Penguins” starring Samuel L Jackson & Whoopi Goldberg and "Wake Up Call" in Ping Pong Playa.
Producer OD Hunte (Leona Lewis, Leela James) is also one half of the group Ten Days Till whose track "Get Them Hands Hi" is known for placements in American Pie 6, EA Sports NBA Live 07, Kardashians the Wedding and Hey Paula.
