Model turned jewelry designer Veronica Webb’s line is now available and is described as being inspired by her travels to the Mediterranean and the beauty and history of the Aegean Sea and the mix of people and cultures that traveled through those waters. The pieces feature sterling silver, hand blown glass, unique beads and silver and bronze charms. Another jewelry line is by Design Jeanie and features beaded jewelry made of semi-precious stones, pearls and Swarovski crystals.
Malcom discovered the pieces and approached Webb, a one-time resident of Key West, about selling the pieces on the site. “I loved the inspiration behind each piece and knew I wanted to make them available on the site because they evoked the emotions I have toward much of the merchandise that I sell,” Malcom said. “Design Jeanie’s jewelry I love because it is handcrafted, affordable and a great addition to any summer wardrobe. Everyone should have a pop of color or two and her jewelry will always bring up that question "where did you get that?"
Other new features include the line of art and photography listed as the “Up Series,” a group of color photographs by William Gatz shot exclusively from underwater in natural settings that are a study in subsurface refraction and make for gorgeous pieces that could be mistaken for paintings. And serving as a reminder of the laid back island life, there’s a newly-available autographed copy of “Soul Rebel An Intimate Portrait of Bob Marley” by David Burnett.
