Chicago, IL, June 17, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Mobile Monday (MoMo) Chicago, a community of mobile professionals that promotes the mobile industry and fosters cooperation and networking, will hold its second annual Mobile Demo Showcase this coming Monday, June 21, 2010 at Thoughtworks from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
This year’s MoMo Chicago Mobile Demo Showcase presenters include a wide spectrum of companies from mobile startups to an established company branching out into the mobile space. The presenting companies include:
Allstate® Mobile by Allstate Insurance Company
The Official 2010 Chicago Blues Festival App by Applitite
Universal Mobile Marketing by Iris Mobile
mPayy Contactless Transit Payments by mPayy, Inc.
SoleSearch by Pangea Subsidiaries
Wilco.app by Roundarch / Wilco
Registration is Free, but space is limited so advance registration is recommended. To register for the event, please go to http://june2010momochi.eventbrite.com.
Similar to last year, the six companies selected will each be given 10 minutes to tell attendees about how their mobile projects are going to transform their industry and change the world. Due to the high response to this year’s event, we will also be providing a handful more companies the opportunity to participate in three-minute lightning presentations on their mobile projects including 820Mobile, Good Technology, AndroidTapp.com and ProOnGo. Before and after the event, all participating companies will be demonstrating their solutions individually for attendees. The presentations will also be followed by a light networking social.
“We’re really excited about this year’s event and the variety of mobile solutions being presented,” noted Anthony Hand, MoMo Chicago events chair. “Chicago is often overlooked as a hot bed of mobile technology, but it’s clear from this year’s participants that mobile development in Chicago is rampant among both startups and more established companies, and we look forward to another big turnout and lively discussion.”
ThoughtWorks is located at 200 E. Randolph St., 25th Floor in the Aon Center. Participants must register to get on the official attendance list, a picture ID is required and attendees must sign in at the reception desk on the first floor. For more information, please go to www.momochicago.org.
