Hollywood Rock Band Inside the Black Announces New Vocalist

Hollywood, CA, June 18, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Hollywood rock band Inside the Black today announced its new vocalist, Mike Richmond. Richmond is a seasoned frontman, having been part of the Seattle, San Francisco and Los Angeles music scenes for many years. Most recently, he fronted his band Eden Tree.

“Mike is an incredible signer and Inside The Black is proud and excited to have him behind the mic,” said Scott Hunter, guitarist for Inside The Black. “He’s got a very powerful and soulful voice. It’s the perfect fit for Inside The Black and we can’t wait until our fans get to hear the new music we’re putting together.”

The new line-up will make its live debut on June 21 at “Rock The Night” at Skinny’s Lounge in North Hollywood, CA, starting at 8:30pm PST. Skinny's Lounge is located at 4923 Lankershim. The show will be broadcast on Internet radio station Radio Reddit (http://radioreddit.com).

The band is currently sharing demos for their upcoming sophomore release on their official blog. While only instrumental versions of the songs have been posted so far, they will soon post demos with Mike on vocals.
