Antrica Releases Full HD Video Over IP Wireless Transmitter and Receiver Modules Supporting 1080p60 and Ultra Low Latency for Digital Signage and Other Applications
Antrica releases the first board level solutions for transmitting and receiving HD video over an IP ethernet or WiFi network and low bit rates. The WiMi4k modules are amongst the industries highest quality video encoders based on H.264 and with the lowest latency. Offering just 30mS end to end delay from HDMI over wireless back to HDMI video and audio.
Maidenhead, United Kingdom, June 19, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Antrica are offering two boards, the WiMi4K transmitter and receiver with integrated WiFi at 5GHz. Each module uses a high performance H.264 video codec supporting up to 1920 x 1080P60 resolution. The WiMi4K modules can transmit compressed video over an IP network via ethernet or integrated 5.2GHz WiFi.
A WiMi4K transmitter plus receiver allows HDMI VGA Component DVI or Composite video to be sent over a wired or wireless link and decoded by the WiMi4kK Receiver in 30mSeconds. Stereo audio and IR data is also supported for remote control applications.
Applications include: Digital Signage, Medical monitor information over IP, CCTV camera control, Consumer HDMI to HDMI , remote PC monitor transmission and Broadcast.
