Nguyen, M.D., to its Dallas office located at 4545 Fuller Dr. (Suite 340), in Irving, Texas. This particular VPA office covers Dallas, Collin, Denton, Rockwall and Ellis counties.
The hiring of Nguyen places her among the more than 150 highly qualified physicians available to assist in the diagnosis and ongoing medical treatment of seniors across 31 locations in nine states. Nguyen comes to VPA after maintaining a private practice for the last nine years in Denton, Texas. A majority of her census at her primary care practice were geriatric patients with multiple chronic diseases. Nguyen was an Assistant Professor at Baylor College of Medicine in the Internal Medicine and Geriatrics Department and also served as medical director for both the geriatrics evaluation and management unit at Ben Taub General Hospital and the geriatrics house calls program in the Harris County Hospital District.
She earned her medical doctorate from the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston in 1994. Nguyen also completed her residency at the Baylor College of Medicine in its internal medicine program.
Nguyen holds a Texas medical license and is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
