CRA Expands Exterior Improvement Grants; Higher Incentives Along N. Federal Hwy, Railroad Corridor

Delray Beach, FL, June 19, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The Delray Beach Community Redevelopment Agency has expanded two of its grant programs to offer more incentives for exterior property improvements along the downtown FEC Railroad corridor and North Federal Highway.

The Paint-Up Program, previously available only in the West Atlantic area of the CRA District, has been expanded to the CBD-RC zoning areas, along the railroad, and to the North Federal Highway corridor, north of George Bush Blvd. The program offers a 50% reimbursement for exterior painting and pressure cleaning expenses, up to $5,000.

A higher incentive rate is also being offered for the same areas through the Site Development Assistance Program, which reimburses businesses for a portion of exterior improvements to commercial properties. The expanded program now offers a 40% reimbursement, up to $50,000 in the targeted areas, and a 25% reimbursement up to $25,000 in other areas of the CRA District.
