Mashpee, MA, June 20, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Bum Boosa™ Bamboo Products is pleased to announce the latest addition to their tree-free products made with the renewable, sustainable resource of bamboo – Bum Boosa™ Bamboo Bathroom Tissue. “This bathroom tissue takes being green to a whole new level,” said Bum Boosa™ President and Co-founder Sonja J. Sheasley, “It employs bamboo, which is grown without pesticides, irrigation or disruption to the root system, in the creation of a bathroom tissue that does not contribute to deforestation or leach BPAs (Bisphenol A – an organic compound suspected of being hazardous to humans since the 1930s) into the groundwater.”
Research has recently surfaced that toilet paper made with recycled content contains BPAs. When flushed into the waste system (public or private) these BPAs leach into the groundwater eventually contaminating drinking water, soil, habitat and more.
