Visionary People Joins Forces with the Georgia Teenwork Program
Visionary People has joined forces with the Georgia TeenWork Program in their efforts to provide Georgia high school teens with an outlet to learn business, learn better work habits and earn some money this summer. Natasha Davis-Bowen who is the founder of Visionary People says "As a business owner it's a privilege to have the opportunity to share another side of life with the teens."
Atlanta, GA, June 21, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Visionary People is a participating sponsor of the Georgia Teenwork Program this summer. The Department of Human Resources has created this program to accomplish two main goals. The first is to offer Georgia Teens a productive outlet for the summer and the second is to offer business owners another way to give back to the community. This program has been conducted for several years and continues to grow.
Any Georgia business can decide to be a participating sponsor of the Georgia Teenwork Program. This is Visionary People's first of many years being a sponsor of this program. Visionary People is a business consulting and coaching company that specializes in strategy and execution resulting in the transformation of your vision into reality.
Natasha Davis-Bowen founder & CEO said that "The teens I have received are eager to learn & willing to work." This is not the first time Visionary People has given back to the community. In December of 2009 Visionary People hosted an event called "Giving Back in Red & White" where guests were commissioned to donate new wrapped Christmas gifts to the Boys & Girls Club of Lawrenceville and in May 2010 Visionary People became a sponsor of the Auditory Verbal Center by donating $1.00 from each Get Grounded;Stay Grounded book sale.
As sponsors of the Georgia TeeWork Program, Visionary People works with the youth for 35 hours a week teaching them business presentation skills, business writing skills, business communication skills, business structure & operation skills. Each teen is treated as an employee and given executive accounts to manage & report on.
