Madelia Community Hospital Foundation Awards Scholarships

Madelia, MN, June 23, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Mickayla Jones and Jasmine Eggestein Awarded Madelia Community Hospital Foundation Healthcare Scholarships.

Madelia Community Hospital Foundation is proud to announce the 2010 recipients of the Madelia Community Hospital Foundation scholarships. This year’s recipients are Mickayla Jones and Jasmine Eggestein both of Madelia. Mickayla plans to attend South Central College in Mankato and intends to go into Psychology or Social Services. Jasmine will be attending the University of Tampa in the Pre-Med program. Jasmine is pursuing a career in medicine with a goal of becoming a pediatric oncologist physician.

Recipients will each receive a $500 scholarship after the successful completion of their first semester. Madelia Community Hospital Foundation is very excited to award these scholarships to such well deserving students. The scholarships will inspire and encourage students to dedicate their lives to helping others.

These scholarships are made possible due to the generous donations from the community and faithful Madelia Community Hospital supporters. The annual scholarships are offered as a means of demonstrating the Foundations commitment to local healthcare and our youth.
