UINT Receives the Award "l’electron d’or" of the Best French Start-Up 2010
The company UINT received the award "L’électron d’or" of the best French Start-up 2010 during ceremony awards at the FIEEC (Federation des Industries Electriques, Electroniques et de Communication), yesterday June 16th 2010.
Paris, France, June 23, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Created in 2008, UINT is a start-up specialized in research and development for flexible electronic board solutions that fit in a credit card format card and are autonomous (carrying its own energy).
On June 16th 2010, at the FFIEC Headquarter in Paris, UINT received the award "L’electron d’or" of the French best Start-up of the year 2010 given by "le magazine ElectroniqueS" and RS sponsor among the 12 winners of the newly created category this year for the 13th edition.
The nominees are large national and international companies (France, USA, Germany, United Kingdom, Norway, Japan ...) identified by the newspaper through news of their business or their projects. A panel of professionals, consultants and members of the electronic newspaper were responsible for the awards.
"It's an honor to receive this award, being recognized by our peers in the electronics world is very rewarding," says Philippe BLOT UINT President. "It also demonstrates that through our innovation and our expertise in industrial processes, there is a growing place for our own active flexible electronic smartcard types of Display Card, Audio Card, Sensors Card ... for applications as diverse as transaction security, medical, gaming or national defense."
Regardless of its vigorous growth, the company UINT tripled operating income; net profit tenfold in 2009 and 2010 appears to follow the same design. "It's really recognition of our know-how, products and most of our team I wish to associate through this award," said Jean- Charles Renaud, PhD and UINT’s C.O.O.
