This Little Piggy Gets New Digs in Santa Barbara
The local boutique recently moved from their long-time location in Paseo Nuevo to their new digs at 8 E. De La Guerra St.
Santa Barbara, CA, June 23, 2010 --(PR.com)-- This Little Piggy Wears Cotton has been open for business in Santa Barbara for 21 years, and now they’re the new kid on the block. The local boutique recently moved from their long-time location in Paseo Nuevo to their new digs at 8 E. De La Guerra St. The new location is just off State St. right on the corner of De La Guerra Plaza. The move marks the final local business to move out of Paseo Nuevo mall. For This Little Piggy Wears Cotton, it’s a welcome return to their roots and how they got their start in Santa Barbara so many years ago.
Jennifer Powell, owner and founder of This Little Piggy Wears Cotton, opened her first store on Anacapa St. in 1989. In the years that followed, her concept of a hip and whimsical boutique catering to parents looking for more than just lace and seersucker for their babes and children, took hold and grew. She eventually moved the boutique into Paseo Nuevo mall in 1993, and gradually expanded the company to multiple stores in California and Arizona. The company currently has five stores, including a ‘wee’ Little Piggy in Montecito at 1470 East Valley Rd.
In addition to growing the number of locations, This Little Piggy began to produce their own line of comfy, timeless, and fun loungewear for the whole family, called PiggyBrand. The line is designed in-house and is made of the highest quality organic cotton, which makes it good for not only your sense of style, but your desire for sustainability too.
Always on the cutting edge of fashion and trends, these days This Little Piggy does more than wear cotton… it blogs, tweets, and keeps up with FaceBook too. So visit Piggy oinkline at http://www.littlepiggy.com and get connected to all things Piggy. Their blog (littlepiggywearscotton.blogspot.com) and FaceBook page are updated regularly with insider information on sales, events, and new products... for VIP’s (Very Important Piggie’s) only. Oink.
This Little Piggy is now open at 8 E. De La Guerra St., M-F 10-6, Sat. 10-7, and Sunday 11-6.
