PlattForm Creates Philanthropic Web Site
PlattForm, an all-encompassing advertising agency specializing in creative solutions for higher education and all branches of the U.S. military, has created a Web site with information about its philanthropic endeavors.
Olathe, KS, December 07, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Those afflicted with Lupus. Art education camps. Underprivileged youth. Families in need. These are just a few of the causes PlattForm employees support through the company's Philanthropic Committee. To ensure employees, beneficiaries and others remain updated on the latest PlattForm charitable contributions, the company has created a web site to house information about its community service in one place.
"We wanted to create a central location for employees to learn more about what the Philanthropic Committee accomplishes. In a company of our size, with so many employees supporting many great causes, it can be a challenge to keep track of everything," said Dana Owens, Philanthropic Committee Chair and Internet Marketing Analyst. "Our hope is that this site will raise awareness for the causes our employees support and motivate others to contribute to our community."
The PlattForm Philanthropic Site (http://philanthropic.plattformad.com) contains information about the following:
- Charity of the month
- Calendar of events
- Descriptions of past events
- Photo gallery
- A list of employees involved in different service organizations
- News articles about PlattForm's philanthropic involvement
The site also features a contact form that allows charities and employees to submit information about their organization or cause. The information will be collected by PlattForm's Philanthropic Committee and considered for future PlattForm service opportunities.
