Local Business Woman Set to Teach

Raleigh, NC, June 24, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Jess McLamb, President of The Roper Group, Inc. (The QuickBooks® and Bookkeeping Experts!) is set to host a Beginner’s QuickBooks® class in office this Friday, June 24th and another the following Wednesday, June 30th. There is no prerequisite for the class and will provide attendees with a thorough understanding of the basic functions of the QuickBooks® program. The curriculum includes an overview of the program, using the functions of the home screen, changing and setting preferences, creating and using sales receipts and invoices, entering and paying bills and charges, creating memorized transactions, and a number of other functions and uses. Bookkeeping is an essential function for running any business and proper training to ensure accurate procedures can make all the difference.

Jess will also be teaching a class entitled Writing Your Business Plan at Johnson County Community College on June 28th from 6:00-9:00 pm.
