Hotram Beach Resort Organizes Career Orientation Seminar to Tourism University Students

Baria, Vung Tau, Vietnam, June 25, 2010 --(PR.com)-- A hundred University students of Vung Tau Tourism College took part in the career orientation seminar that HoTram Beach Resort & Spa organized on Tuesday, June 22, with the aim to expose the students to the real practice of their studies.

HoTram Resort presented its brand, operations and services that provide the students a wider view and understanding on their future career in the hospitality and tourism industry.

The resort is also seeking out fresh talents potential to be trained for quality standard of operations. Vietnam’s tourism industry is growing and there is a need to prepare its human resources to keep up global competition.

“It was encouraging to see high level of confidence, motivation and enthusiasm among the students," said Allan Tuppil, General Manager of Ho Tram Resort. "We highlight openings in technical positions, finance, front office, food and beverage, sales and marketing and other areas.”

Tuppil said they are always on the lookout for bright and motivated graduates to join their team. "We focus on providing inputs to tourism students for the future of the hospitality industry in Vung Tau and at the same time we might be able to offer a wide choice of potential careers for the eager young learners,” Tuppil said.

For his part, Mr. Le Minh Cong, Deputy Director of Vung Tau Tourism College said their students “benefited immensely by way of exposure to careers in demand, and also got an opportunity to interact with representatives from the Tourism Industry like Hotram Resort. This could mark the first step in the students' search for the right career and the right company."
