Nourishing USA, is Going Above and Beyond for Their Clients

New York, NY, June 25, 2010 --(PR.com)-- When Nourishing USA has the opportunity to change the lives of those in Harlem they jump at the opportunity. For the past three weeks Nourishing USA has been working to win a grant from Post Foods, even though they are a new not-for-profit they have had an outpouring of support from New York City and beyond.

Every weekend the founder of Nourishing USA along with several volunteers can be found with laptops all around the city gathering votes for the Post Foods grant. “There are over 9 million people in New York City but sometimes they can be hard to reach,” says Gina Keatley, founder and CEO, “however, when people hear what we are doing they stop in their tracks and vote. It’s fun to see all of the support.”

Nourishing USA is also reaching out to people in cyber space by posting short videos that urge people to vote. “The videos have been fun, we do them all in one or two takes and they’ve been viewed by thousands of people around the world. We hope they seem them and vote,” says Gina Keatley. “The videos are as low-tech as you can be, they record them on a cellular phone.”
