Laura U to Host Trunk Show for Jewelry Designer Shamaine Klein Design

Houston, TX, June 26, 2010 --(PR.com)-- On Thursday July 15th from 6-8pm, Laura U Collection, a Houston based furnishings and accessories boutique, will host a trunk show for jewelry designer Shamaine Klein of Shamaine Klein Design. This event, to be held at 1840 Westheimer Rd in Houston TX, will feature a line filled with rare gemstones set in precious metals. Shamaine Klein Design's newest collection "Modern Opulence," boasts a beautiful collection of eye-catching earrings, necklaces, and rings. So, it is no wonder Lisa Pliner, wife of designer Donald J. Pliner, is now the new face of Shamaine Klein Design; a line that is guaranteed to be both artistic, modern and versatile.

"Inspired by bold regal colors evoking a sense of romance and royalty, the collection maintains my signature style; and by adding large gemstones such as the concave cut Swiss Blue Topaz, it also creates a very striking effect,” notes Shamaine. Shamaine was born into a family of jewelers and has been inspired to design jewelry for as long as she can remember. After a career in the arts and raising a family, her love affair with jewelry was rekindled. This ignited a creative spark and Shamaine Klein Design was born. Currently, Shamaine Klein Design creates a collection of pieces to support the Donald J Pliner Peace for the Children Foundation.
