Murder at the Farmers Arms - a Charity Production by Douglas Drama Group

A Fun evening out in aid of a well-deserving charity
Guests will arrive and enjoy a pre-meal drink as events unfold around them with murderous results.
Whilst they enjoy a meal, the suspects will circulate for them to question. As the evidence mounts, they can make up their mind who is the Murderer. After the meal, all will be revealed.
The murder mystery drama was written by Douglas Drama Group member Alan McCabe, who is also involved in acting and directing. This is the second murder mystery event the group has produced. The first murder mystery event was to raise funds for the victims of the Tsunami in 2005.
Admission is 15 pounds Sterling, including a three-course meal and a 5 pounds Sterling donation to local charity Rainbow House; registered charity no: 1127498

Parbold Douglas Drama Group is an amateur dramatic group, based in Parbold, Lancashire, performing two productions per year in local venues. Their next production following the murder mystery night will be ‘Third Week in August’ by Peter Gordon, which takes place at the end of November 2010.
The Farmers Arms is a countryside pub with Southwell's Restaurant, Chorley Road, Bispham Green, Lancashire L40 3SL.
Rainbow House is a charity that specialises in providing services for children with brain injuries, disabilities and life limiting conditions. Some of the children have undiagnosed neurological problems. Their approach is based on an holistic approach to rehabilitation known as Conductive Education which aims to teach children life enhancing techniques, through education, recreation and sports, so that they can live more independent lives within the community.
