Kaviraj Singh, Trustman Co at BLBA–IFCCI Conference

Delhi, India, June 29, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Belgian Luxembourg Business Association and Indo French Chamber of Commerce & Industry jointly organized a seminar on trade credit in International trade on June 24, 2010 at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.

In this context, they have invited Kaviraj Singh, Trustman & Co to explain to the audience how far he can assist small, medium and large size companies in the collection of debt within the existing legal framework. Kaviraj Singh is a managing partner of Trustman & Co, a law firm based at New Delhi, India.

He discussed the various laws as may be applicable to international transactions in India and methodology to avoid/ prevent the disputes in international trade. He particularly emphasized on the due diligence of the companies to ascertain their credit worthiness and security before entering into business transactions. The companies should also possess the correct documentation which explains the rights and liabilities of each of the parties in a clear manner. He also discussed about the litigations, debt purchase law, SARFESI, Sale of Goods Act etc. The question answers session followed after the speech.
