Le Méridien Amman Awards the Top Five Travel Agents
Amman, Jordan, June 29, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Le Méridien Amman held last week its annual celebration designed to recognize and reward the top five travel agents for their outstanding and continuous support to Le Méridien Amman Hotel, during the year of 2009.
In his speech, Mr. Derbas welcomed the guests and emphasized the role of Jordan Tourism Board and the Ministry of Tourism on the hospitality sector and the support that they have continuously and gladly offered to Le Méridien Amman during the last years. He also proudly announced that Le Méridien Amman was ranked among the top five improvers by brand for the month of April 2010. This honorable position indicates a major increase in the Guest Satisfaction Index, and has come as a reward for the associates tireless efforts to exceed guests’ expectations, in every manner possible.
Mr. Ala’a Habashneh, Director of Leisure Sales commented on this fiesta by saying: “This annual event gives us the opportunity to express our gratitude and appreciation to all travel agents. It signifies the solid partnership that has been created over the years, due to exceptional service and genuine care about our guests.”
The Mexican-theme cocktail reception was held at the pool terrace, with over 200 travel agents and media, and included distributing plaques to the top five travel agents; Dakkak Tours International, Discovery Travel, Al Thuraya Travel, Jordan Select Tours and United Travel Agency by the General Manager; Mr. Tareq Derbas and Managing Director of Jordan Tourism Board; Mr. Nayef Al-Fayez.
