Colorado Humanities and Outskirts Press Recognize Colorado Book Award Winners in Aspen

Denver, CO, June 30, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Colorado Humanities & Center for the Book announced the winners of the 19th annual Colorado Book Awards on June 25 in Aspen, Colorado. With the Mayor of Denver, John Hickenlooper in attendance, the awards were announced in the picturesque Doerr-Hosier Center. The winners were:

The Colorado Book Awards is one of the oldest state book award programs in the country and recognizes outstanding contributions by Colorado authors, editors, illustrators and photographers in multiple categories: anthology/collection, biography, children's literature, creative nonfiction, history, fiction, genre fiction, general nonfiction, juvenile literature, pictorial, poetry and young adult literature.
