Area of Design Gets Drenched

Dallas, TX, August 15, 2005 --(PR.com)-- Area of Design (AOD) has announced a call for entries to the 2005 Drench Award.

The organization, which showcases the work of artists and designers based in the United States, invites entries for the Drench Award's four categories: Branding; Illustration; Packaging; and Print design.

This year's competition, which closes in November, is expected to attract a record entry. "We are honored to review these submissions each year," says AOD's Sydney Tanner, "but the most challenging part is selecting the final four winners in January."

This year, Area of Design will bestow the ultimate winner with a Platinum Drench Award and an Apple iPod Mini (in their choice of color) for overall design excellence.
