Love, Betrayal, Hope and Despair Drive ORA GAD: The Old Country, Published by Outskirts Press
Atlanta, GA, July 02, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Outskirts Press, Inc. has published ORA GAD: The Old Country by Suruba Georgette Ibumando. The author's most recent book to date is a 6 x 9 paperback in the historical fiction category and is available worldwide on book retailer websites such as Amazon and Barnes & Noble. The webpage at www.outskirtspress.com/ORAGADTheOldCountry was launched simultaneously with the book's publication.
Ora Gad is the heroine of this historical fiction trilogy. Her saga spans more than a century and the continents of Africa and Europe before finally culminating in America in our days -- more specifically in New York City in Central Park.
ORA GAD is an epic tale filled with magical powers, seductive charm, and the clash between good and evil. It’s an account of love, betrayal, murders, hope, despair, religious zeal, witches, pirates, trolls, and non-stop action.
Ora Gad’s world is one of alluring magic where vigilance is her ally at every turn, for what looks good or bad may not necessarily be what it appears to be. Distinction between good and evil isn’t as evident as between black and white. There’s a gray area. Things are foggy.
How will Ora Gad, the heroine, proceed?
Ora Gad is a trilogy: The Old Country—Book One; High Seas and Middle Passage—Book Two; and New York Central Park—Book Three.
368 pages in length, ORA GAD: The Old Country is being aggressively promoted to appropriate markets with a focus on the historical fiction category. With U.S. wholesale distribution through Ingram and Baker & Taylor, and pervasive online availability through Amazon, Barnes & Noble and elsewhere, ORA GAD meets consumer demand through both retail and library markets with a suggested retail price of $24.95.
Additionally, ORA GAD can be ordered by retailers or wholesalers for the maximum trade discount price set by the author in quantities of ten or more from the Outskirts Press Direct bookstore at www.outskirtspress.com/bookstore.
