idOnDemand Launches Free Token to SmartID Trade-Up Program
idOnDemand's launches a Trade-up Token Program that allows users to trade in their One-Time Password tokens for up to 100 free single, secure identification smart cards that replace multiple physical, logical, and virtual identities.

By switching to SmartIDs for free, the “Token Trade-Up” program provides the opportunity for organizations to deploy a standards based, highly secure, single identity on-demand. The program runs through September 30, 2010.
Companies eligible to participate in the Trade-up program are those currently using an active OTP solution. Such solutions include, but are not limited to, tokens from the following companies: Aladdin, Entrust, RSA, SafeNet, Vasco.
Those who participate in the Token Trade-up program will receive a free credit for every token turned in (up to 100), applied toward the idOnDemand SmartID solution. This is a $5,550 value.
idOnDemand SmartID is an Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) that centralizes and automates the process of enrolling, producing and distributing a highly secure, standards based, unified identity that consolidates multiple credentials into a single, secure identification card that replaces multiple physical, logical, and virtual identities.
How the program works
OTP token users simply fill out the online registration form at www.idOnDemand.com/tradeup (must obtain promo code from idOnDemand partner or rep) and send in their OTP token(s) within 45 days after card issuance to receive credit. In subsequent years, customers only pay the annual service fee ($49/user) for the users that remain active.
With this promotion, service includes:
- Globally Trusted Managed Certificate Authority
- FIPS 201 compatible smart card
- Building Access Card (HID, Indala, Honeywell compatible and MIFARE, PIV, ISO14443)
- Support for Cisco and other major VPN routers
- Enrollment portal with graphical personalization
- 20 minute hands on orientation
