Lucky Strike Resources Ltd. has extended its welcome to Derek Bartlett of Mississauga, Ont., to join the company's board of directors and as chief executive officer, effective immediately.

Mr. Bartlett received a bachelor of science degree from the University of New Brunswick in 1962 and has been involved in various capacities including management and board seats with junior mining companies for over 30 years. He currently is a director and chief executive officer of Cadman Resources Inc. and is also a director of several other mineral exploration companies.

Rae Warburton has resigned as a director, chief financial officer and treasurer to pursue other ventures. Mr. Warburton has agreed to remain with the company as a consultant for the next three months. The company would like to thank him for his years of service. Patricia Wilson will be taking over the role of CFO and treasurer effective immediately.
