Growing Mega Church Makes Wise Investment with New Website Design by Creative Mouse

Portland, OR, December 11, 2006 --(PR.com)-- When Abundant Life Church chose Creative Mouse to redesign their website, Creative Mouse immediately knew that they would be a perfect candidate for a Content Management System. Virtually every website needs to be kept current. However, an active and growing church like Abundant Life Church has an even greater need. Dispersing information about events and schedule changes can be a cumbersome job for a large organization. The easy to use Content Management System built by Creative Mouse fills the communication gap easily.

Abundant Life jumped at the chance to use a Content Management System to maintain their site. Creative Mouse added special features like a CMS photo gallery and CMS calendar pages. Creative Mouse filled the site with pictures of the members, services, and community events.

The colors and layout of this site are designed to be inviting. The goal of this design was to communicate a large amount of information in a way that is both inviting and easy to comprehend to visitors and members of Abundant Life.

Abundant Life Church was founded in June 1989 by Pastor George Powell and his wife, Ann, at the invitation of the Northwest Christian Evangelistic Association. In 1995 the church purchased 11 acres on SE 172nd and Hemrick Road. After 15 years of meeting in numerous rental locations, the church moved into her first facility in March 2003. Completion of phase 2 in June 2006 provided a state-of-the-art children’s and student ministry facility as well as expanded lobby space and a new Life Café espresso shop.  More importantly than where they’ve been, however, is where they are going! They celebrate what God has done in the past but look forward with even greater anticipation to all He wants to do through us in the future.

Joel Mottinger, CEO of Creative Mouse and newly merged Web Pro Site worked closely with elders from the church and managed a large team that ranged from graphic designers, content writers, and development programmers.
