Impulse Decisions Puts Its Head Together with National Law Firm to Raise Money for Brain Injury Charity
Harrogate, United Kingdom, July 03, 2010 --(PR.com)-- A Yorkshire business man has teamed up with a national law practice to help raise money for a leading brain injury charity.
The Leeds branch of Lyons Davidson Solicitors hosted a Black and White Charity Ball to support Headway Brain Injury Association, their nominated charity for the year, supported by Yorkshire based events management consultancy, Impulse Decisions.
The charity dinner, held at the Hilton Hotel Leeds, was attended by almost one hundred people, including local businesses and solicitors, and featured a charity silent auction hosted by Impulse Decisions which raised 596 pounds Sterling towards the work of the leading brain injury association.
Impulse Decisions provided a variety of items for the silent auction including luxury driving experiences and sporting memorabilia from the world of golf, such as signed items from Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus.
James Marsden, Director of Impulse Decisions, said: “We are delighted that we could help to raise money for such a deserving cause. Their dedication to increasing the awareness of brain injury is to be admired.
“Silent auctions are a great way to enhance fundraising at a charity event as you’re giving the guests something that they feel they can’t live without, demonstrated by the fundraising success at the Black and White Ball.”
