Multi-Platinum Recording Artist Sevendust Play Big Part in New Children’s Book by Five-Year-Old Author Zachary Malott
Major rock band Sevendust is featured throughout this new children’s release and spared no effort in making sure this child’s first concert experience was most memorable.
Los Angeles, CA, July 06, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Five-year-old child author Zachary Malott may have released a couple of books already this year in his “Let’s Explore” children’s book series, but his latest children’s book release will no doubt be his most memorable.
The book, entitled My First Rock Concert, was created to chronicle Zachary’s very first rock concert experience at the Regency Theatre in San Francisco as personal guests of multi-platinum recording artist, Sevendust. Sevendust spared no detail and made extra effort in making sure the experience would be one of a lifetime for young Zachary.
Sevendust lead vocalist LaJon Witherspoon is a long time friend of Zachary’s dad, Michael Malott. Malott had actively worked in the music business up until 2007, when he gave up a career touring with major recording artists to become a single, full time parent to the then two-year-old Zachary.
Since then both Zachary and his dad have worked together and released several book titles, both solo and as a team. In Zachary’s My First Rock Concert (for which his father gets a “with help from daddy” credit), all the excitement of a real rock and roll concert is captured. From the early afternoon spent on the band's tour bus, to backstage, to the band's live appearance, Zach was provided with VIP passes, and even his own private front row center seat. The band later during their performance dedicated a song to him.
In full color photos, Zachary has created a journal that highlights not only all the excitement of that night, but of a great group of guys who spared nothing to make sure Zachary had an incredible experience. Fans of Zachary’s “Let’s Explore” series as well as Sevendust fans with kids will love this book.
The book was created by Zachary and his dad for Zachary to have when he got older and look back on his first concert experience. Several copies were also made for Sevendust as a token of appreciation for all they did for the youngster. However, with some encouragement from Sevendust, the father and son team have decided to make the book available to the public. So now for the first time, copies of My First Rock Concert are available online through Amazon and later will be available through bookstores.
