In March 2010 FACTA, Subtitle A of Title V of Public Law went into effect. It will require Americans to more comprehensively report offshore income from overseas accounts. Aimed at individuals, the law will also have sweeping changes for corporations as well as they impact the path to investment in US firms by foreign companies.
