Tampa Bay Firm Wins Logo Design Contest for Baseball’s Upton Brothers

A logo design submitted by Chris Schmelter, Art Director of Tampa Bay’s ACF Consulting, was voted the winner of a contest sponsored by baseball’s Upton Brothers. The winning design is now being used as the logo for the Upton Brothers’ website (theuptonbrothers.com) and other related promotional materials.

Tampa, FL, July 08, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The Upton Brothers, BJ who plays center field for the Tampa Bay Rays and Justin who plays right field for the Arizona Diamondbacks, recently announced the logo contest to create a brand for their promotional efforts. Of the many logos submitted by designers from around the country, the Upton Brothers chose their six favorites and submitted them for a public vote to determine the winner.

The contest winner Chris Schmelter has been the Art Director for ACF Consulting for five years. ACF is a Design, Web Development, and IT firm located on Seven Springs Blvd in Trinity Fl. This is not the first time Chris has successfully blended his graphic design talents with his love of sports. He designed the logo for the St. Petersburg Bowl and has done graphic design work for a number of college sports stadiums including several stadiums at the University of South Florida.
