Novosoft, an international software development and IT-consulting company, today announced that the new 6.8 version of Handy Backup will be a major update featuring integration with Novosoft's Online Backup service.

A typical online backup service consists of two parts: a client software that is installed on a customer's computer, and a data center at the service provider's site. Most important benefits of storing backups remotely include worldwide accessibility, protection from local disasters of any kind, and getting rid of the necessity to label backups and maintain storage conditions.
