“The inspiration for the Holiday came as an extension of the fall collection, but with a bit more embellishment and shine” says Mike Gonzalez. “Faye Dunaway in the Eyes of Laura Mars played a huge part of where ideas started evolving. I really loved the over-the top shine the film had, but paired with somewhat of a matte color palette from the film’s coloring. The paring made it even more interesting.”
