Wilshire Comedy Group Brings Another All Star Comedy Show "Comedy in Paradise" to Hauppauge August 15th
Another great night of comedy comes to Hauppauge, NY.
HAUPPAUGE, NY, July 09, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Appearing in the show is Les Degen. Les is an extremely likable comic with a very energetic and clean act. Audiences of all ages enjoy his take on the challenges of middle age, marriage, parenting, and his zany views of the world around him. He has performed all over the New York area in such established venues as The Comic Strip, New York Comedy Club, Brokerage Comedy Caberet, Governors and McGuires. Les is also an actor and a singer. He performs Broadway Showtunes and Classic Standards with his singing trio, Two Guys and a Gal.
Also appearing is John Santo, a stand-up comedian and impressionist from Long Island. His impressions include Presidents Obama, Bush and Clinton, The Sopranos, Mayor Bloomberg, and many other celebrities and original characters. John has performed his impressions on WABC radio and is currently a cast member in the Gloria Glitter Show, a sketch comedy play in Manhattan.
Headlining the show is Jimmy Q who brings a bold, bald, eclectic style to the stage with his various characters and stories about everyday life events. If you're looking for brutal honesty, this is your guy. If not...well...
The creator of Cause to Laugh, a comedy fundraising entity for a variety of worthy cause, he has helped raise over $12,000 for the Haiti Relief efforts and institutions such as the Sloan Kettering Pediatric Cancer Center, St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Team in Training and Dan Waeger's Collegiate Cancer Foundation just to name a few.
