Bluefield, WV, July 09, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Author Cynthia Cox has struggled three decades of her life piecing together the puzzles of a life raised in an Incest and Ritual Abuse family environment in the southern hills of West Virginia. Her silence that occurred in her years of abuse has given her the adult courage to speak the truth of what others said she should never tell society.
In the timeline of her abuse from 1984-1995; she battled the lies, deceits, and secrets that many survivors struggle with when dealing with abusive families. However, the state laws of West Virginia were not strong enough in 1984 to provide judicial protection to this family which only added to the mental abuse that she has strived to over come.
Cox, has used writing as a form of therapy all of her life. This creative outlet allowed her to seek survival to the painful realities that she faced as a child growing up. Through self-awareness, research and educating herself to help others; she has found the courage to write her story to share with others as a free first novel.
