Access Self Storage Named Business of the Year

Lancaster, TX, July 10, 2010 --(PR.com)-- In recognition for its efforts to enrich the community, Access Self Storage has been named Business of the Year by the Lancaster Outreach Center.

Serving the Lancaster, Wilmer, and Hutchins areas since 1986, the Lancaster Outreach Center offers assistance to area residents in the form of food pantries, counseling services, financial assistance and mortgage assistance, and a charity-driven thrift store. In their ongoing commitment to the community, the Center honors one business each year that shares its desire to make a difference in the metroplex. This year, that business is Access Self Storage.

In late 2009, as the Center prepared to pick up food and donations from the area, volunteers found themselves suddenly having to deal with a broken-down vehicle and no other means of transportation. Seeing an opportunity to serve, Access Self Storage was quick to send one of their own moving trucks to complete the pick ups. Access continues to offer their aid whenever needed, earning them the title of Business of the Year.
