San Antonio, TX, January 26, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Outskirts Press, Inc. has published Things I Wish I Had Taught My Son: ...And Still Can by Jesus Ramirez. The webpage at www.outskirtspress.com/taughtmyson was launched simultaneously with the book's publication.
Things I Wish I Had Taught My Son - And Still Can is a daily email that the author started sending his son when he left for college a couple of years ago.
He felt that there was so much left to pass on and thought the medium of email (directly to his phone) would be the best way to reach him. Now this series of emails has been compiled into a trio of books. This is the first one.
These emails include life lessons, business lessons, how-to's, found wisdom, and words of encouragement for the interesting life ahead.
Jesus is the father of eight children and has the beautiful challenge of juggling life, health, family, career, entrepreneurship, etc. He believes in learning by teaching. Therefore, he has invested quality time almost everyday writing these emails so that they could serve as guideposts for his oldest son, and so that they could also direct all his other children. All but the youngest three read, along with his son.
At the prompting of some friends, Jesus made these emails public shortly after he started writing them and posting them live on his blog. The feedback he received prompted him to follow up with this book.
He sincerely hopes that these reflections transfer something of value to others and to their families.
144 pages in length, Things I Wish I Had Taught My Son: ...And Still Can is being aggressively promoted to appropriate markets with a focus on the family and relationships and life stages category. With U.S. wholesale distribution through Ingram and Baker & Taylor, and pervasive online availability through Amazon, Barnes & Noble and elsewhere, Things I Wish I Had Taught My Son meets consumer demand through both retail and library markets with a suggested retail price of $15.95.
