Hair Care Product Junkies Use Their Habit for Good

Atlanta, GA, July 13, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Atlanta Natural Hair Care (AtlantaNaturalHair.com) is conducting a July Bathroom Cabinet Clean-out Drive to benefit the Dress For Success Atlanta program, which helps local women in need gain and maintain employment.
The Bathroom Cabinet Clean-out Drive will last through the month of July. Donations will be collected via door front pick-ups by Atlanta Natural Hair Care. “Many women continuously sample and abandon products in their search for that magical product that cures all ills. We call these women product junkies,” says Elaine Truesdale founder of Atlanta Natural Hair Care. Atlanta Natural Hair Care is asking these product junkies to empty out their cabinets and donate their slightly used products to Dress for Success Atlanta. On August 7th the women of Naturally Fierce, a local natural hair care Meetup group, will deliver the collected products and spend the day helping Dress for Success count and organize inventory.
The Dress for Success Atlanta program provides women in need with a suit appropriate for the industry in which they are interviewing. They also provide toiletries and accessories, when available. The donations obtained from Atlanta Natural Hair Care’s Bathroom Cabinet Clean-out Drive will be included in toiletry packages for the women. After women are hired they return to Dress for Success Atlanta for additional clothing to serve as the foundation of their professional wardrobe. With their Professional Women's Group (PWG) program and Career Center, Dress for Success Atlanta offers women ongoing support to successfully transition into the workforce, build thriving careers and prosper in the mainstream workplace.
