IPS Securex Announces Increased Sales of the Innovative HyperSpike Product Line to be Featured at the SAE2010 Exhibition at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore
IPS Securex Pte Ltd, one of the South East Asia’s leading security systems integrators, has been awarded further contracts for the innovative Hyperspike® product line of acoustic devices. Over 20 units have been sold within the last six months to various Government Departments in several ASEAN countries. Customers now include police forces, navies and security agencies.
Singapore, Singapore, July 13, 2010 --(PR.com)-- With unique, patented and proprietary HyperSpike® technology, the HS family of acoustic hailing devices (AHD) products manufactured by Ultra Electronics in the USA are the ideal sound reinforcement solution for communicating over long distances and penetrating through high background noise environments. IPS Securex will be featuring the HyperSpike® technology at the SAE2010 Exhibition to be held at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore from 20-22 October. Among the products on display will be the mid range HS-16 which is the ideal sound reinforcement solution for communicating long distances and penetrating through high background noise environments where the acoustic performance of the more powerful HS-24 is not required. With an acoustic footprint of over 1000 metres, clear, intelligible commands and authoritative messages are broadcast to intended targets with exceptional STI ratings of 0.91 out of 1.0. Preserving the chain of command in a tactical situation is critical. When operating the HS-16 at maximum 148 dB output, the acoustic level at the operator is a manageable 95 dB – safeguarding nearby personnel and upholding local verbal commands.
Also featured will be the handheld HS-Micro packs a peak acoustic output of 141 dB to penetrate high background noise and to reach an intended target at 500 m. Traditional bull horns and common hailers frustrate the user and listener with messages that are distorted and unclear. With an exceptional STI rating of 0.85 out of 1.0, the HS-Micro brings clear and intelligible commands and authoritative messages to the intended target.
Finally the HyperShield, the only personal riot shield on the market to combine non-lethal acoustic deterrence with a lightweight, portable, carbon fiber riot shield. With 140 dB of acoustic output, the HyperShield easily penetrates high noise environments and helps create a safety perimeter stand-off of 50 metres with crystal clear commands, authoritative messages and piercing alert tones.
