LAN Airlines Opens a New Route from San Francisco to Lima, Peru

Cusco, Peru, July 14, 2010 --(PR.com)-- LAN has further extended its flight network in Latin America by adding a new route connecting the USA with the “Land of the Incas.” At the beginning of July LAN added their fourth US gateway city by announcing departures from San Francisco International Airport with the new non-stop service to Lima, Peru.

LAN Peru, a division of LAN Chile, has started operations offering four flights a week to Lima running on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday with connecting services to many other Peruvian and international destinations from the modern Jorge Chavez International Airport in Lima which acts as a major flight hub for South America. San Francisco joins the other 3 United States gateways cities of New York, Los Angeles and Miami and the route will operate with Boeing 767s carrying 221 passengers.
