Candela Controls Honored with ARCHI-TECH AV Award for 2010
Candela Controls has received the ARCHI-TECH 2010 AV award for their work on Carolina Herrera Flagship Boutique at CityCenter in Las Vegas, NV.
Winter Garden, FL, July 14, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Candela Controls, Inc. is proud to announce that they have been awarded an ARCHI-TECH AV Award for 2010. This took place at the recent InfoComm International® show in Las Vegas, NV last month. Candela Controls was given the award for their part in the project Carolina Herrera Flagship Boutique at CityCenter, which also happens to be in Las Vegas, NV.
So what’s so special at the Carolina Herrera Boutique? Located at the new Vegas CityCenter, this storefront is used to portray a dynamic, large-scale video display which is designed to integrate entirely with the building’s architecture. The ability to stand out from the many high-resolution, large-format video displays that are already overused on the Strip, helps to add to the creativity and the uniqueness of this project.
Every year, ARCHI-TECH partners with InfoComm International® during the yearly InfoComm tradeshow, to present the annual ARCHI-TECH AV Awards. This year was the eighth year of a program that honors some of the most breathtaking examples of creative and effective integration of technology into normally traditional construction projects.
Each AV Award is judged by two AV integrators, two architects, and two technology consultants; and they evaluate each entry using the following criteria: concept, design, innovation, scheduling, teamwork, and solution. Additionally, sustainability is considered. To culminate the award process, each of this year’s winners were recognized during the annual InfoComm tradeshow in Vegas.
“What makes this award much more unique than many others is the opportunity that ARCHI-TECH and InfoComm International® take to educate others about the details of each project,” said Eric Zink, Manager of Marketing & Communications; “they accomplish this by creating a unique webinar for each individual project. Each webinar is in the format of a virtual panel discussion, enabling others to hear from the professionals themselves who created these award-winning projects and the best part is that you get to learn more about the design and technology challenges they each overcame. A true learning experience,” he concluded.
The webinar for Carolina Herrera Flagship Boutique at CityCenter will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2010 at 1:00 PM, EST. To register, go to this address: http://tinyurl.com/2w9k2yw
