New Level of Services and Professionalism via Dallas Dog Services
Dallas, TX, July 16, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Dallas Dog Services Joins Pet Sitters International
Dallas Dog Services has been accepted for membership in Pet Sitters International (P.S.I.), an organization of more than 7,900 independent professional pet sitting services throughout the United States, Canada and abroad. Founded in 1994, P.S.I. is the world’s largest educational association for professional pet sitters.
For pet owners, in-home pet sitting provides a unique alternative to boarding facilities—or relying on family or neighbors to check on pets. Pet sitters come to the home daily and animals are able to keep their regular routines for meals, walks, medication and one-on-one care and attention. Owners report that their pets experience less stress and adjust better to their owners’ absence when the pets remain in their normal environment.
P.S.I. offers members access to bonding and liability insurance and educational resources such as P.S.I.’s Accreditation Program and annual Quest convention. According to PSI President Patti Moran, Pet owners consider their ’fur children‘ part of the family and the demand for quality care continues to increase, “Our membership consists of trusted pet care professionals serving an average of 126 clients each and performing an estimated 8 million pet sitting engagements each year,” Moran said.
With membership in P.S.I., Dallas Dog Services has reinforced its dedication to offering professional, quality services and increasing their knowledge of the pet care industry. Lisa Garrett and Dallas Dog Services are available for pet sitting and many more pet services in Greater Dallas, University Park, Highland Park, Plano, Rockwall, Garland, Richardson, Rowlett, and Mesquite. Call 214-729-0510 for an appointment. For additional information about Pet Sitters International, visit www.petsit.com.

Lisa Garrett founded Dallas Dog Services, a locally owned family business. She was moved to start Dallas Dog Services after the sudden death, due to cancer, of her longtime companion Magan. She was a loving playful 12 year old chow mix. Lisa wanted to do something that would allow her to connect with the community and honor the memory of her loving pet; this was when the idea of forming Dallas Dog Services was born. Having had a life time passion for animals and their well-being has made Lisa a natural fit into the professional pet sitting industry. Lisa is Licensed, Insured, Bonded, First Aid and C.P.R. Certified, and a member of Pet Sitters International. Lisa is offering the following services to serve her clients: Pet Sitting, Dog Waste Removal, Pet Taxiing, Puppy Potty Training, and Mid-Day Breaks/Walks. Through her services she is helping customers “Go Green” and helps leave a smaller “paw” print from their pets. She even helps relieve stress and anxiety for pets and their owners by providing in-home care solutions. These services especially allow seniors and the physically challenged to help their pets remain physically and mentally active to live longer and fuller lives.
Insurance and Bonding provided by: Pet Sitters Associates, LLC Underwritten by: Essex Insurance Company 1-800-273-2002.
